Our blessed hope is everlasting!

Welcome brothers and sisters!

Today is a blessed day to surrender to the Lord and seek after His will.  Whether we have good days or bad, God is always good and He says He will never leave us nor forsake us.  That is something to always keep in mind as we endeavor more and more to have our mind transformed by the Gospel and no longer conform to this world, instead we aim to look more and more like our beloved savior Jesus Christ.

We are so grateful for everyone who came Saturday night, shared their testimonies and came up to pray with a young sister in need.  We are also grateful that you came to worship and study alongside us as we continued in the book of Hebrews, our study for the night was Hebrews 10:19-25.  Pastor Scott faithfully preached the solid meaning of what it looks like to not just understand what it is we have in Christ, our faith and the assurance of...but the importance of turning from our sin in repentance to the Lord Jesus Christ.  We invite you to watch and share today's video sermon, always checking everything according to the scriptures.  It is a good thing to be like those noble Bereans of old, amen?  We also ask that you would continue to pray alongside us for God's will in the possible building move for us, the brothers and sisters in various need as we walk together in the faith and for a brother and sister who are hoping for a medical miracle.  So please intercede in prayer alongside us dear brethren, we all need one another and we all need the Lord most of all.  Below is an synopsis from the sermon study on Saturday night, we hope and pray you read, share, watch and above all....share the Gospel, it is so important to do.   In the face of eternity, our time here on earth is very short and since we have Jesus we ought to desire others would be saved right along with us.  The sources uses for this is Microsoft Bing, Brave, www.biblegateway.com, and the Bible at the top of it all.

We can enter God’s presence with confidence because of what Jesus has done for us. He has opened a new and living way for us by His blood, which cleanses us from sin and gives us access to God. He is also our great high priest, who represents us before God and invites us to His throne of grace. He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, who upholds all things by His powerful word. He is the author and finisher of our faith, who endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him, and who is now seated at the right hand of God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, who never changes or fails. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, who will come again with power and glory to judge the living and the dead.

We need to have a sincere heart that believes God’s word and obeys His will, and that is sprinkled from an evil conscience by the blood of Jesus and washed with pure water by the Holy Spirit. We also need to encourage one another to love and good works, and not to forsake the assembly of the saints, but to exhort one another as we see the day of the Lord approaching. We need to fix our eyes on Jesus, the source and goal of our salvation, and to follow His example of obedience and endurance. We need to worship God with reverence and awe, for He is a consuming fire. We need to hold fast to our confession of hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

We hope to see you next week brothers and sisters, please contact us for anything we may be able to help or encourage you with and until we meet again...let's go serve our King!
