Pure Heart, Sincere Faith and the Conscience

FRF Web • January 5, 2023

Let us sit at God's feet and learn...

Happy New Year beloved!

Here we stand, another year gone by, and yet we endure by the grace of God Almighty! Amen!  While we aren't promised another day, we have been given this last year, and we have been promised eternity for those who believe and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ...that is a wonderful praise that we ought to give to God every day for right?  Sadly though, there are some who did not make it through the year and worse off, those who didn't believe the Gospel.  So brothers and sisters we need to be fervent in our sincere faith and proclaiming the Good News of Salvation whenever we are afforded the opportunity.

Our beloved Pastor Scott, who successfully had his hip replaced on Wednesday (praise the Lord!) on new years eve presented a wonderful message out of 1st Timothy on Saturday night, where we discussed the meaning of having a pure heart, sincere faith and a good conscience.  These 3 things can most certainly help us in our walk with the Lord, and we need to be in prayer every day that the Lord gives us His strength to keep each one as they ought.  Our verses for the night were 1st Timothy 1:5; 6:20-21, and we urge you with spend some time in the Word with us, and share it with others! :)  We had some great testimonies on Saturday and we encourage more, it is always a great thing to witness what the Lord is doing in the lives of others.  As we move into the new year, we encourage you not to worry about making resolutions, instead simply being sincere in your faith to our Lord Jesus Christ, and surrender to Him as He wills to do in your life.  By far and beyond our comprehension, is His will greater than ours, and simply surrendering to His will makes all the difference.

We encourage you to visit us here online, and don't hesitate to contact us for anything we may be able to help you with in your spiritual walk. We can't live your Christian life for you, but you aren't called to live it out alone either.  Let's build one another up in our most holy faith, always giving glory to God our Father, thru the Lord Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit of God, amen? Amen!  We hope to see you next Saturday at 7pm for worship, fellowship and a meal to share, and come sing to the Lord with us too!  We love you dearly, and pray the Gospel continues working in your lives, and pray you spread that very Gospel to others that they also may be saved!  Join us in praying for a swift and speedy recovery for our Pastor, that his new hip has him up and running marathons in no time. :)

Until we meet again, Let's go serve our King!
