Welcome back beloved family of God!
As we begin the first week of November, we remember that we have the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up...our gathering tonight, we learned in the scriptures about a different thanksgiving and prayer. The Apostle Paul in Philippians 1:3-5, gives us a deep look at how we should model the way we give thanksgiving and prayer for our family in Christ as we seek to share the Gospel. Our wonderful Pastor Scott takes us deep into the Word, as we find the character that is shown in Paul, and why he lives in such manner. We also are reminded that, when we serve the Lord, sharing our faith, sharing the Gospel...we are never alone in doing so. We have a multitude of faithful brothers and sisters throughout this world that share in all these things right along with us. So we encourage you tonight to join us and watch this weeks video, remembering to give thanks to the Lord for everything.
We also had the wonderful opportunity to share in the Lord's Supper on Saturday night, something we are to do often, and do so in remembrance of the Lord. We have been given a new covenant in Christ, that He Himself established...a mighty blessing indeed! Our church celebrates with open communion, that all believers are able to join with us and partake. Remember to examine yourself in the faith, so one doesn't end up sinning against the Lord.
Every week as we meet together, and all throughout the week when we meet, one thing is for sure, God surely is to be praised that He would bring us together in His Word, by His Spirit, in His Son. We are truly rich in Christ. We are always available for anyone that would like to know more about the Lord, and we have many services available to help in your walk of faith. The Gospel is something that everyone needs, yet many still don't realize how much. Let's serve the Lord together, and until next we meet at 7pm Saturday...go forth and share your faith and the Gospel!
